Tragic Incidents Highlight the Importance of Safe Driving in Harford County
Tragic road accidents have impacted local residents this holiday season as millions of Americans hit the roads to reunite with their families/friends and enjoy the activities of the holiday season.
Among others, Harford County experienced a collision involving ten vehicles, leading to injuries for two individuals. These incidents serve as a reminder to exercise caution and prioritize safety while traveling on the roads.
At this time of year, weather, increased traffic on the road and distracted driving all contribute to the potential of a serious accident. Stay alert and drive safe as you venture out to enjoy this weekend’s holiday festivities!
Medical readiness coordinator plays critical role in supporting U.S. military’s all hazards command
U.S. Army civilian Karen Diep-Arwood has been recognized as the command Civilian of the Quarter for July through September 2023 by the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) Command Surgeon Cell.
Diep-Arwood serves as the medical readiness coordinator for the command and plays a crucial role in managing the medical readiness of soldiers. She ensures that troops are healthy and ready to fulfill their missions by compiling reports, coordinating readiness programs, and maintaining links with other CBRNE organizations.
She maintains technical links with various CBRNE organizations and analyzes data to prioritize medical readiness requirements. Diep-Arwood's expertise and dedication have been highly valued by the command, and she is an integral part of the team.
