Maryland Man Arrested for Felony and Misdemeanor Charges Linked to Capitol Breach
Brandon Heffner, a 38-year-old man from Harford County, has been arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges for his involvement in the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Heffner is accused of obstructing law enforcement, illegally entering restricted areas, and engaging in disorderly conduct during the joint session of Congress to confirm the 2020 presidential election results.
Video footage shows Heffner and other rioters blocking an exterior door and preventing police from deploying tear gas. The FBI, along with the U.S. Capitol Police and Metropolitan Police Department, are investigating the case.
This arrest adds to the over 1,200 individuals who have been charged in connection with the Capitol breach.

Baltimore Ravens Stars Among Potential Hall of Fame Inductees
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is set to announce its class of 2024 during Super Bowl week in February, and the Baltimore Ravens have a strong chance of being represented.
Four former players from the franchise have been named semifinalists for induction into the Hall of Fame. The semifinalists include Devin Hester, Willie Anderson, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Smith Sr.
Boldin and Smith Sr. have made it to this stage of consideration for the third time, making them legitimate contenders for the Hall of Fame.
