Kids Treated Like Rock Stars During Dream Shopping Spree, Thanks to Macy's and Tabitha's House
Macy's has joined forces with Tabitha's House, a local non-profit and thrift store, to bring joy to children and families in need through a special holiday shopping experience. Instead of simply giving children toys, the collaboration allows them to be treated like celebrities as they walk a mini red carpet and receive personalized attention.
The event took place at Macy's store in Harford Mall, where almost 100 children were given a shopping spree, granting them the chance to dream and experience something out of the ordinary. Tabitha's House, which aids countless individuals in Harford County every year, aims to support those living near or below the poverty line, as well as those in the middle class who struggle to make ends meet.
Volunteers inside Macy's assisted the children in selecting items such as shoes, clothes, and toys. This unique opportunity allowed the kids to explore a wide range of offerings, including exciting new products that they may have been curious about.
Tabitha's House has been making a difference in the community for many years and cherishes the opportunity to connect with these families. The dedication of volunteers and the impact they have on the lives of those in need is truly heartwarming.
Inspiring Rescue Mission: Firefighters and Sheriffs Join Forces to Save Stranded Deer!
Darlington Volunteer Fire Company and Harford County Sheriff's Office collaborated to successfully rescue a deer named "Sprinkles" who was trapped in a pool.
This heartwarming incident took place earlier this week and involved the joint efforts of the two organizations.
After the rescue, Sprinkles was given necessary care to regain warmth and will now continue with his preparations to assist Santa Claus during the upcoming holiday season.

Rest Up For Next Sunday Against the Rams!
No Game - Itβs a Ravens BYE Week

Trust and Chemistry Key for Ravens' Offense in the Absence of Mark Andrews
The Ravens' offense struggled to find its rhythm against the Los Angeles pass defense, despite being one of the league's worst. However, Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken does not believe the absence of tight end Mark Andrews was the main factor.
Monken acknowledged that tight end Isaiah Likely played well and filled in admirably for Andrews. Likely led the team in receiving yards and was a reliable target for quarterback Lamar Jackson. Monken highlighted the differences between Likely and Andrews, with Likely offering more agility and potential for broken tackles.
The Ravens plan to rely on Likely's ability to excel in yards after the catch, which may result in fewer opportunities for wide receiver Zay Flowers and others.
While Likely brings a different skill set than Andrews, the Ravens still expect him to make contested catches. This requires trust from Jackson and the development of chemistry between the quarterback and his new targets.
Quarterbacks Coach Tee Martin emphasized the importance of spending time with Likely and other potential replacements for Andrews to establish the same level of connection that Jackson had with the injured tight end.
