Comprehensive Surveillance System Installed on Ma & Pa Trail to Deter Crime

Harford County officials have taken proactive measures to enhance safety on the Ma & Pa Trail by installing a state-of-the-art video camera system. The decision comes in the wake of the tragic discovery of Rachel Morin's body on the trail earlier this month. County Executive Bob Cassilly stated that the system has the capability to swiftly detect any unusual activity and assist in locating specific individuals or vehicles of interest.

Covering an extensive stretch of nearly two miles from the Williams Street trailhead to North Tollgate Road, the video camera system is expected to significantly bolster security for hikers and joggers frequenting the popular trail. The collected data will be made readily accessible to law enforcement agencies and emergency first-responders, enabling them to effectively respond to any potential incidents.

The implementation of this video surveillance system follows the distressing incident involving Morin, who was reported missing on the evening of August 5 when she failed to return home from a walk. Tragically, her lifeless body was discovered the following day on the trail.

Rest and Recovery: Baltimore Ravens Head into Bye Weekend Ready to Recharge

The Baltimore Ravens are eagerly heading into their bye weekend in Week 13, offering much-needed rest for their players.

Zay Flowers, the team's rookie, has shown promise but has experienced a decline in performance in recent games. The Ravens need him to rejuvenate and become a playmaker for their playoff push.

Star defender Michael Pierce has been exceptional this season but requires rest to be at his best for the playoffs.

The team is generally healthy, with Marlon Humphrey and Justin Madubuike expected to return after the bye. Ronnie Stanley, however, needs to improve his performance, and the bye week provides an opportunity for recovery and self-reflection.

Lastly, Isaiah Likely has stepped into the role left by Mark Andrews but should be given more opportunities near the line of scrimmage to utilize his strengths as a player.
