Voyeurism and Child Pornography: Maryland Predator Sentenced to Over a Decade in Prison

Charles Wheat III, a convicted predator from Bel Air, Maryland, has plead guilty to using a hidden camera in his bathroom to record sexually explicit images of underage girls.

Wheat admitted to producing explicit footage of at least five minors who used the bathroom in his home between April and November 2020. In addition, he was found to have collaborated with sex traffickers in the Philippines by paying for videos that depicted minors being sexually exploited.

Charles Wheat III is set to be sentenced in January. He will face a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison for the production of child pornography, with a maximum term of 30 years. Additionally, the judge has ordered that Wheat must register as a sexual offender upon his release. Regardless of his place of residence, work, or study, he will be required to disclose his sex offender status.
